How to Measure Curtains Perfectly

1. Tools You Need

• Metal tape measure (fabric ones stretch!)
• Step ladder for high windows
• Pen and paper

2. Decide: Pole or Track?

Pole → measure the pole length (excluding finials).
Track → measure the full track length.

Add 15–30 cm on each side for proper stacking when curtains are open.

3. Width Calculation

Standard fullness = 2–2.5× the track/pole length.
Example: 200 cm pole → order 400–500 cm total curtain width.

4. Drop (Length) – Three Popular Styles

• Sill length: 1 cm above the sill
• Below sill: 15 cm below the sill
• Floor length: 1–2 cm above the floor (or puddle slightly for luxury)
